I prepare to rush by and pretend I don't notice them as traces of drool gathered at the edge of my mouth. Admittedly – I can't even see shoes without saying "ahhh shoooooes" in a drawn out drawl that makes my heart race. Willpower almost won out until I notice a small sign that reads 40% off last ticketed price. Oh well, I tried. Three pairs of boots later – I leave the store a happy lady.

Have you ever saved money on something or got such a great deal that you can't stop talking about it? Whether you beat a salesperson down on their price, happened upon a surprise sale or stumbled on a great coupon – the thrill is the same.

I think it is human nature. It is part of our animalistic hunting skills. It is the thrill of victory.

Ok – so maybe I make shopping out to be just a little too primal and exciting but I do enjoy a great deal. It is no secret to everyone I know, that I love dress boots and shoes. The only thing better than a great pair of boots – is a great pair of boots on sale. I've purchased both ways and the guilt free feeling an awesome deal offers is a state of euphoria left unmatched to this day.

The Tweapsave website is based on this same concept. It is all about my love of finding great deals and my love of sharing deals with friends. My associated blog "1440" is about me "trying" to save. I'll be trying to save money, save time, save my health or save my mind. There are only 1440 minutes in each day and each of them has infinite potential. Emphasis is on the word "trying".

Blog themes will focus on finding ways to save something. I'm open for suggestions on things to try. As I explore new ways to enjoy life and do things better, I hope you will glean some useful information and a few laughs.
